Our most basic crochet class consists of two class sessions and will take you through all of the basic crochet stitches and introduce you to the basics of diagram and pattern reading as well as granny squares. You'll be amazed at what you can create with just the basics in hand!

This beginner crochet class is designed especially for kids, with their developing hand dexterity in mind! In this class, kids will learn how to hold a crochet hook, create a slipknot, and start making a project using crochet chains!

Amigurumi style crochet has boomed in popularity thanks to kits like the Woobles! This class will give you the skills you need to get started with basic amigurumi patterns, and you'll crochet an adorable little clam along the way!

PLEASE NOTE that while this project is suitable for novice and young learners, it does require time and patience.  Some students may benefit from first completing a smaller project before commiting to this piece.

Students will need to purchase at least two skeins (depending on size) of soft cotton or cotton blend yarn, size 3 or 4. (We used I Love This Cotton from Hobby Lobby). Also, students will need to purchase comfortable, washable ribbon for the shoulder straps.

This summer beach bag uses a type of cord instead of yarn, making it nice and sturdy! It's a simple pattern, but those brand new to crochet may find working with the cord challenging.

Students will need to purchase 4 skeins of this cord in desired colors. Other materials are welcome, but keep in mind that yarn stretches!

Come learn the basics of Tunisian Crochet, a craft that uses special crochet hooks to create knit-like texture! In this class, you will learn how Tunisian crochet differs from regular crochet and practice basic stitches in preparation of making your first piece: a beautiful, functional washcloth with alternating stitches!

This easily adjustable one-size-fits-all pattern will help you become comfortable with crochet symbols, and you'll finish with a beautiful, light shrug!
